Caddyshack-Eat, Drink & Meet the Mayor

On Friday, March 27, 2015 the Greater Plantation Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the City of Plantation Mayor’s Reception -  “Caddyshack- Eat, Drink and Meet the Mayor” at the Plantation Preserve Golf Course and Club.  We will be honoring the winners of the City of Plantation's 2015 Election!  On Tuesday, March 10 we are voting for the Mayor’s Seat and City Council Member Group Two and congratulating Councilmember Lynn Stoner who was re-elected unopposed.  In addition, we will be recognizing the Greater Plantation Chamber of Commerce’s Trustee Members!

Guests will enjoy an irreverent, super, fun filled themed night with a variety of elements from the movie “Caddyshack”!  There will be a Private “Tee It Up” - VIP Sponsor Only Cocktail Reception from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. serving signature drinks (i.e. Poolwater Martini and the Rodney Dangerfield).  The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a wonderful dinner with items including “Caddy” Salads, “Go Fer” Crab Cakes, “Firecracker” Shrimp, “Double Bogey” Burgers, Pulled Pork “Sandwedges” – well,  you get the idea!  Guests should feel free to come dressed as your favorite character from the movie and be ready to Eat, Drink and Be Murray!

The event promises to be a “Hole In One”!  Guests will be treated to a delicious dinner, cocktails and music, and back by popular demand, South Florida’s Hottest Jazz Band “Brass Evolution”!  And a special 19^th Hole Dessert Bar.           

If you’re a golfer and haven’t played at Plantation Preserve Golf Club there will be opportunities to get out and see the course!  This fun filled TGIF evening event - is the ultimate way to congratulate and introduce yourself to your Mayor, our City Council Members, old and newly elected.  (The City of Plantation’s Municipal Elections are on Tuesday, March 10)  The last Mayor’s Gala was in 2013 and it was a SOLD OUT success! Seating is extremely limited!  So please make your reservations early if you would like to attend!
